Teddy is about to celebrate his Bar Mitzvah at Adat Shalom in Bethesda. I had the privilege to hear Teddy rehearse before his portrait session. While I was amazed by the skill of his torah reading, and mastery of the prayers, what impressed me the most was his understanding of the meaning of the prayers. Teddy’s knowledge of what is behind each word he says is what becoming a Bar Mitzvah is all about. Mazel Tov to Teddy and his family!
