I adore every family I photograph, but some parties hold a special place in my heart. I knew this would be one of my favorites before the first song was played. With a winter wonderland theme, a soft snow fell the morning of Ella’s Bat Mitzvah. The stage was set in the most perfect way, as she beautifully and confidently read torah and led services at Shaare Torah. We even snuck outside before services to capture a photo in the snow, which the fabulous Jodie Rappaport printed and framed in time for the party. With candles twinkling and a room full of family and friends the dance floor was never empty. The kid’s presentations lasted most of cocktail hour, as they all wanted to share how much they love their friend. While the father daughter dance started out sweet, Ella and Aaron rocked the dance floor and made jaws drop when they broke into a full on dance number. Ella’s parents surprised her, and all the guests, with a donut truck serving warm apple cider donuts at the end of the evening. Mazel tov to Rebecca, Aaron, Ella, Ruby, Eden and Asher!
