Mike and Chelsea both worked at the Ohio Attorney General’s Office, but almost missed each other by a few days. They met at a party thrown in their honor, a going away party for Chelsea and a welcome party for Mike.

Chelsea moved to D.C. days after the party, but stayed in touch with Mike. Despite vowing she wasn’t interested, eventually Chelsea came around and the pair started dating long distance. When Mike got a lead on a job in D.C. he jumped at the chance to move to be closer to Chelsea. Just over a year later they got engaged!

Mike proposed to Chelsea several months ago at their favorite spot in D.C., the WWII memorial. With a wedding planned next summer in their home state of Ohio we set out to explore their adopted city.
