While I adore all the families I photograph, Josh and his brother are two of my all time favorite siblings. The love and faith their parents have in them radiates outward and comes shining right out of these sweet, kind and thoughtful boys. They were lovely during portraits and their parents have so much to […]

Even though Jonah had never held a torah, this Bar Mitzvah boy gave it a try. I was impressed by Jonah’s respect for the torah and determination at his Beth El portrait session. Mazel tov to Karen, Adam, Arielle and Jonah.

I love all my clients, but this family holds a special place in my heart. Talia’s mom, Jenn, taught my son’s Pre-K class last year at Temple Beth Ami Nursery School. From day one I was in awe of her sweet, calm demeanor in the face of a classroom full of little ones. My son […]

Jake was all business when we met up to shoot his synagogue portraits at Temple Sinai. When I offered him the haftorah to hold, since it is smaller and lighter, Jake wasn’t fooled and asked to hold the torah. Sweet and funny with two parents who adore him, I was honored to photograph this kind […]

I adored photographing Lily’s Bat Mitzvah Portraits at Congregation Beth El in Bethesda, Md. The light in the sanctuary is so soft and lovely and matched Lily’s sweet personality. Mazel tov to Sara, Ori, Lily and Sam!

After a full morning of mincha and rehearsal, Yael and her family joined me for her Bat Mitzvh portraits at Adas Israel Congregation. After photographing her older sister, Talya, in 2011 and her brother Alex in 2013, I had been looking forward to this session for ages. A little bittersweet, as it was our last […]

It was so lovely to catch up with Aly and her family as we shot her Bat Mitzvah portraits at Tifereth Israel Congregation in Washington, D.C. Mazel tov to Susan, Henry, Gigi and Aly!

Before the last leaves dropped this fall, Amelia and her sweet family joined me at Temple Sinai for portraits before her big day. Mazel Tov to Kim, Bruce, Amelia, Alex and Jacob! Stay tuned for your party photos!

I had the honor of joining Ella’s family before her morning Bat Mitzvah service at Washington Hebrew for a few quick portraits. After photographing Ella’s older sister’s Bat Mitzvah over three years ago it was such a treat to see how the girls have grown and catch up with this lovely family.

During the start of Thanksgiving break I had the pleasure of photographing Danielle’s Bat Mitzvah portraits, a few days after her celebration. We had such a relaxed session and it was great to catch up after the party was over. Mazel tov to Karen, Jon, Rachel, Michael and Danielle.

Oliver rocked his portrait session at Congregation Etz Hayim, Arlington, Va. Oliver and his mother share such a lovely bond, it was an honor to photograph them before they celebrated Oliver’s Bar Mitzvah. Mazel tov to Oliver and Alisa, I can’t wait to share your party images!
